MEET DR. TIFFANY
Tiffany Otto Knipe, MD, FAAP
After launching Washington Market Pediatrics in 2015, the pandemic inspired Dr. Tiffany to convert her practice to a concierge, membership-only based practice, thus making it even more boutique and bespoke. In 2022, WMP Boutique Pediatric Care opened its doors. Navigating the COVID pandemic increased Dr. Tiffany’s awareness that families prioritize not only exceptional healthcare, but also value the doctor-patient relationship more than ever. The trust and confidence built into that relationship was essential in guiding anxious families through unprecedented and challenging times.
Dr. Tiffany was inspired to become a doctor by the positive experience she had with her own childhood pediatrician. As a parent and pediatrician, Dr. Tiffany aims to create a practice that provides all her patients the kind of high-quality and compassionate care that she expects for her own children.
Dr. Tiffany is a board-certified pediatrician and is trained in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She completed her undergraduate training at University of Pennsylvania and attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her three years of pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian–Weill Cornell Medical Center and then went on to complete three additional years of fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Yale University and New York University Langone Medical Center. Dr. Tiffany is a Clinical Instructor at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center and New York University Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Tiffany is the parent of two incredible boys, Anderson and Riley, who were the main inspiration for her to create a boutique pediatric practice. As a new mother, she could not find a practice that met her needs as both a parent and pediatrician so she built the practice she envisioned for her own children. Anderson and Riley are now teenagers, and continue to encourage and inspire Dr. Tiffany as both a mother and pediatrician. They even inspired her to write the children’s book, “My Doctor Book: The Not-So-Scary Adventures of Brothers: Anderson and Riley".
