Alexandra Ashinoff, MD

Alexandra Ashinoff, M.D. has a comprehensive background in pediatric medicine, and a passion for education and advocacy in the healthcare space. She is committed to providing excellent, evidence-based medical care. 

Dr. Alex was inspired to become a pediatrician by her love for working with all children from infancy through adolescence combined with her deep interest in medical science. She was particularly drawn to join the team at WMP Boutique Pediatrics due to its warm and wholistic approach to pediatric medicine and its commitment to providing exceptional and personalized care to children. 

Dr. Alex grew up in New Rochelle, NY and completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology at Duke University. She earned her medical degree from Boston University, and completed her Pediatric Residency Training at Yale New-Haven Children’s Hospital.

Her training and experiences have instilled in her the importance of fostering strong, honest relationships with patients and families. Dr. Alex enjoys being able to take time to truly get to know patients and families. She values the details of each patient’s story and strives to support each patients’ unique interests and values. She has a passion for finding creative solutions and advocating for all her patients. She aims to partner with patients and families not only to address their immediate medical needs, but also to empower them to lead happier and healthier lives outside of the office. 

Outside of work, Dr. Alex enjoys spending time with her friends and family, writing, running, soccer, hiking, improv and stand-up comedy, and the amazing food across New York City. 

LANA BAKER, Practice manager

Lana Baker has been assisting Dr. Tiffany to manage her pediatric patient care practices since 2015. She is a beloved and trusted member of the WMP family. Lana always ensures that all WMP patients receive the most attentive and meticulous care in all areas of their pediatric experience. She always radiates joy when she greets families, and often has lollipops or sparkly surprises for anxious children and a cup of tea available for an anxious parent.

Lana is originally from Lancashire, England, and came to the U.S. to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business from New York University and a master’s in Theology and Counseling from Nyack College. 

As the mother of three children, who has spent her life balancing work, education and family, Lana is very aware of and empathetic to the commitment, love, time, effort and meticulousness that is essential to delivering quality health and wellness care. 

Madigan petrie, r.n.

Nurse Madigan joined WMP in the summer of 2022. She quickly became a beloved nurse to our families and fit in seamlessly with our WMP Team.  She grew up in Bernardsville, NJ and always knew she wanted to work with babies and children.  She received her BSN from Ramapo College of New Jersey then followed her heart and worked in Labor and Delivery and the Mother-Baby Unit at Hoboken University Medical Center.  In those roles, Nurse Madigan came to appreciate the joy in connecting with families and helping them to navigate the sometimes stressful but also exciting time in their lives as their families grow.  It was this experience that led Madigan to us at WMP.  She has truly enjoyed being able to spend more time with patients and to watch them grow in our small office setting.

Outside of work, Nurse Madigan enjoys fitness and exercise, spending time with friends, and exploring more of New York City.
